Everton are in a deeper and deeper hole, but Newcastle have also had a very difficult few weeks.

Everton are in a huge mess, with no way out for the immediate future. Although the chances are still there for this team, they are by far the worst in terms of finishing in the PL this season.

They are 19 goals (!) below their expected goal after 27 rounds. Nobody in any of the top leagues is close to this awful statistic.
Arnaut Danjuma and Lewis Dobbin are both out on Tuesday night, but on the positive side, Sean Dyche can at least count on Vitalii Mykolenko again.
