Another star team eliminated in a huge surprise? – free tips

The Africa Cup of Nations group stage will be completed on Wednesday, completing the round of 16.

Not so much in success of tips, but in terms of madness, it was another incredible day of play in Africa. Algeria, one of the favourites for the tournament, were knocked out, but Cameroon only progressed with two goals in the 87th minute to ensure qualification.

As we approach the final day of the group stage, the main players now know the result that will see them through, so the picture has cleared up a little. Let’s see what we can expect in the last four games, but looking at the results so far, we can say: ANYTHING!

Group E

Mali are already through with 4 points, but South Africa could still be eliminated with 3 if Tunisia win and Namibia don’t lose. So it’s a real who’s who between South Africa and Tunisia, although the former would still qualify for the last eight even with a draw. A group win would be worth a lot here, as it is not a matter of whether Burkina Faso or (probably) Morocco are next in the last 16.

What should we bet on?

We’ll take Mali to win, as Namibia are one of the weakest teams in the tournament despite their 3 points. For the other 90 minutes, we’ll be betting on South Africa, who will be looking to hold on to the result, which could be reflected in tactical errors.

Group F

Morocco’s place in the last four is assured, and a draw would be a good result for both Ziyeche and rivals Zambia, as the former would be almost certain group winners and the latter third-place finishers. It could be a toss-up between DR Congo and Tanzania, as the former would qualify with a draw, while the latter would only be helped by a win, and that would be certain.

The final position could be particularly important here, as the group winners will have an easy opponent, while Egypt will be second and Senegal third.

What should we bet on?

We are betting on one team to be exceptionally short-handed, and that is Congo, who have been very athletic so far, and we think they will easily beat a much more modest Tanzania. In Morocco’s game, we’re going for the low scoreline, with a draw being the right scenario for both teams, and even a 1-1 draw sounds good.
