A more difficult task awaits Real Madrid, and Barca should take the Super Cup semi-final easily.

The semifinals of the 2024 Supercopa de Espana, i.e. the Spanish Super Cup, will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday. This will be the 40th time the trophy has been awarded, and the defending champions and record champions are none other than 14-time winners Barcelona.

In the four-team format, the first and second place of La Liga and the Copa del Rey will compare their skills, this time in the first semi-final Real Madrid-Atlético Madrid, while in the second Barcelona-Osasuna. The meetings will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and based on the odds, the dream final, El Clásico, may also take place this year.
