We would triple up on Barcelona with this tip

Real Madrid and Girona won, leaving Barcelona 10 points behind the leaders.

The La Liga leaders won the tie, if not easily, to leave defending champions Barcelona 10 points behind the leading duo. The Catalans will close the gap at home to Las Palmas on Thursday, but Gran Canaría is no easy place to play, with only one team having emerged victorious this season.

Xavi’s side will still be missing Ter Stegen and Gavi, Marcos Alonso and Pedri. Frenkie de Jong’s ban has expired, Sergi Roberto, who scored a brace in the final game of the year, could start, while Lewandowski could be joined in attack by Torres and Rapinha.

Barcelona have never lost a league game to Las Palmas, but they will need to tighten their belts as another defeat or loss of points could cost them the title for good.

The Catalans will therefore have to play under a lot of pressure, which they have not always responded well to this season. After a two-week lay-off, it’s a big question which side will show which face, but we’d vote the Garnet and Blue team the confidence.

Our tip is for a win for the visitors, which is available at around 1.55, but we’d also like to add a ‘both teams score’ option to the odds, so our combo bet would triple the odds in the event of a win.
