Who will win the Nations League? We show you the favourites

There are semi-finals between Germany and Portugal and Spain and France in June, and the bookies are not too confident.

The quarter-finals rematches were a thrilling affair, with three of the matches decided only in extra time. Despite the Portuguese taking the lead twice, the Danes held their own, but the Lusitanians eventually overwhelmed their opponents in extra time to win 5-2 in Lisbon. The French had to overturn a two-goal deficit against the Croatians, which they did thanks mainly to the excellent play of Olise for Bayern Munich, and eventually reached the last four on penalties. That was how Spain made it into the top 4, with Germany almost making it 3-0, but 3-3 was enough for Nagelsmann’s side to reach the semi-finals.

Who will progress to the semi-finals of the Nations League?

So the competition will see Germany-Portugal and Spain-France semi-finals, the former in Munich on 4 June and the latter in Stuttgart on 5 June. The Germans currently have the best chance of reaching the final – 22bet will pay 1.47 times if Kimmich and Ronaldo get past them. Spain vs France looks to be the closest match-up, with the two sides last meeting in the 2024 European Championship semi-finals, a clash won 2-1 by the Yamals.

Who will win the 2024/25 edition of the League of Nations?

The final will be played on 8 June in Munich and the bronze medal match will be played on the same day. As the above chart shows, there is a good chance that the fourth edition of the Nations League will be won by a team that has already lifted the trophy. All the previous winners are still standing, and Germany would win the final without ever having finished in the top 4. Yes, but the Nationalelf are on a roll, unbeaten in the NL and home advantage could help. However, they are second best on the odds behind La Roja, whose title defence could be worth 3.24 times the money.
