We have a strong tip for the Italian Cup final!
In the eternal city, we wouldn’t be surprised if one of the teams wins the cup outright, even with even odds.
The final of this year’s Italian Cup between Atalanta and Juventus will take place in Rome. Extra time is supposed to be coded, as five of the last six games between the two teams have been drawn, but seeing the form of the teams, it’s not hard to pick favourites at even odds.
Juve, who are on a scandalous run, can only be assured of a place in the Champions League thanks to the fact that Atalanta beat Roma at the weekend. This means that, at worst, the Old Lady will finish in 5th place, with Allegri’s side looking like a challenger to Inter until the spring.
It says everything about the Zebras that Salernitana left the industrial city with a point on Sunday, stretching their winless streak to six games. And Allegri hasn’t even really made any reserves, that’s just how disjointed Juve are at the moment. No wonder the head coach’s departure is now a certainty.
On the other side, there is certainly more optimism, as the two trophies could be joined by a bronze, especially if the two sides draw Bologna-Juve this weekend. Gasperini have won six of their last seven games and, although they are not clear favourites for the Coppa or the Europa League final, Lookman and his team are having a good season.

Although he has twice been named coach of the year and has been in charge of Atalanta since 2016, this could be Gian Piero Gasperini’s first trophy with Atalanta, while the club last won the cup in 1963.
However, it is a huge blow to the Bergamo side that the in-form Gianluca Scamacca is serving a ban, meaning Charles De Ketelaere, who will join the team permanently at the end of the season, will start at striker. He scored a double against Roma last time out, so a quality replacement is a given. On the other side, Perin could be back in defence, while Vlahovic’s fellow striker could be Chiesa.
Free picks for Atalanta – Juventus
We offer two picks for the meeting, one is Atalanta to win, with a draw and a return bet option. Our other thought revolves around the cards, which we suspect will be 5 minimum. The match will be led by Fabio Maresca, who has only been undefeated 9 times in his 30 betting games this season at the 4.5 mark, while in Serie A, for example, he has a record of 14 overs and 2 under. Obviously, a cup final shouldn’t be a problem for many cards.
