Carlos Alcaraz Has Earned the Most Prize Money in 2025
Although there are still six months left in the 2025 season, Carlos Alcaraz can already be satisfied with his annual earnings. The Spanish superstar has already earned close to 7 million dollars this season, and if he continues at this pace, he could reach the 10-12 million dollar mark by year’s end. Carlos Alcaraz earned 10.3 million dollars in 2024, which was the best year of his career.
Novak Djokovic holds the earnings record, having earned 21,646,145 dollars in 2015, one of his best years. That year, Djokovic won the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open, and was a finalist at Roland Garros. He also dominated the Masters, winning Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Rome, Beijing, Shanghai, Paris, and the year-end World Tour Finals, as well as reaching the finals in Montreal and Cincinnati.
World number one Jannik Sinner nearly broke Djokovic’s record last year – the Italian earned 19,735,703 dollars in 2024, which barely falls short of the Serbian’s figure.
Is Another Alcaraz-Sinner Blockbuster Coming?
In the men’s draw, defending champion Spanish Carlos Alcaraz is expected to be the top seed, closely followed by world number one Jannik Sinner. Third on the favorites list is seven-time champion Novak Djokovic, who lost to Alcaraz in last year’s final. Fourth on the favorites list is Jack Draper, who broke into the world elite this year. Draper is the British hope and secret favorite for another Wimbledon title win – fans expect a lot from him and secretly hope that after Andy Murray, he could be the next home champion.
