The bookies have Barca going through, City still top favourites

The majority of the big teams have escaped the draw and have beaten their opponents in the BL.

On Monday, the draw for the knockout stages of the European Cup was held, and while for us Hungarians the fate of Ferencváros was the most important thing, the majority of the world was naturally interested in the Champions League last eight.

After the group rounds, you could already see that the really “hot” pairings could not really come together, but we still got some exciting matches.

A Barcelona vs Napoli and Atlético Madrid vs Inter will be of particular interest in the spring.

The first leg will be played on 12-13 February, with the rematches a week later. The bookmakers have of course already come out with the first odds,

And the odds on Real Madrid, PSG, Arsenal, Man City, Bayern, Dortmund, Inter and Barcelona to progress to the last eight.

Manchester City remain the biggest favourites

In the final winner’s markets, there has been little change in the power rankings, with defending champions Man City still the biggest favourites to lift the trophy, followed by Bayern Munich in second place, Real Madrid and Arsenal close behind. The odds on fifth and sixth-placed PSG and Barcelona are now so high that they and the teams behind them have no real chance of winning the final.
