Last week for Sparta will not go down as one of the best moments of the season. Although they had Liverpool under pressure on several occasions, the result was an ugly defeat. It will be hard to recover after two such slaps on the wrist, the only thing in their favour is that they can now really take to Anfield Road with no stakes and a sense of liberation.
