Despite Barca’s great performance, Real are the top favourites
Barcelona have a serious problem with one of their most important players, Marc-André Ter Stegen, out for the season with an injury.
Barcelona continue to have a lot of problems to deal with as injuries continue to hamper the team.
The Catalan giants recently took a very serious blow when it was revealed that their number one goalkeeper, Marc-André Ter Stegen, was out for the season. Although Barca have a relatively good number two goalkeeper in Inaki Pena, the club’s management have decided to sign someone to replace Ter Stegen.

How long will Barcelona’s winning streak last?
The big question is whether Barcelona can achieve their goals without Ter Stegen.
Since the arrival of Hansi Flick, the team has been virtually soaring, with a 7/7 record in the Spanish La Liga.
Of course, this performance puts them ahead of defending champions Real Madrid, but the four-point gap could quickly disappear.
Although Barcelona are playing much better than last season in the Flick era, the bookmakers are not confident in the Catalans.
The odds on the 2024/2025 La Liga champions show that Real Madrid are still considered the overwhelming favourites to win the title.
Real Madrid stumbled a few times at the start of the season, but since then Carlo Ancelotti’s side have found themselves. Victories have come in succession, and new summer signings Endrick and Kylian Mbappé have found their goalscoring boots. But the French superstar is now injured and will be out until the end of October.
All in all, we are in for an interesting season as it looks like Barcelona, under the guidance of Hansi Flick, will pose a real challenge to Real Madrid.
What do you think about these odds?
