After a great European Championship, the Swiss are stuck in the autumn, while the Serbs are consistently poor.

We may have seen the result of this in September, when they lost 2-0 to the Danes (albeit 0-0 down a man down) and 4-1 to Spain. Moreover, in the latter match the Hellenes had the advantage from the 20th minute onwards, although the scoreboard showed 0-2. In any case, it is clear that the Swiss national team will need some time before they can return to the level they showed at the European Championship.
