Milan muss zu Hause stark spielen – 3 Tipps gegen Slavia

Milan vs Slavia Prague doesn’t seem to be the most exciting match on Thursday, but it would be a shame to slam the Czechs. After all, Slavia finished with 15 points in their EL group after beating Roma at home, and their form is impressive. Can the paperwork fall at San Siro? Check out the best tips with 20bet!

Unbeatable Czechs at home?

Slavia are having an excellent season, and even the cup knockout at the end of February cannot change that. That is no small praise for Jindrich Trpisovsky’s side, as there are not many household names in the squad, but plenty of young players. The Prague outfit reached the last 16 from the third qualifying round, knocking out two Ukrainian teams (Dnipro, Zorya) and collecting 15 points in a group against the trio of Roma, Sheriff and Servette.

Although this draw is not exactly brutal, Slavia are capable of anything, especially at home. Since 2020, teams such as Leverkusen, Nice, Rangers, Ferencváros, Legia Warsaw, Feyenoord, Union Berlin, Fenerbahce, Panathinaikos and Roma have failed to win at home to Slavia. Although this meeting will take place in Italy, Milan will have reason to be excited in the event of a close win or draw at the Fortuna Arena, where Slavia’s goal difference in the EL this season is 17-0.

But of course, it’s a shame to deny that even the current Roma are not up to Milan, just as the Rossoneri are ahead of the teams mentioned above. Moreover, Stefano Pioli’s side are coming into the game with a win and, although they will be back in action on Sunday, they are favourites against Empoli.

As for the expected starting line-ups, the sides could be fielding virtually the best teams, so it’s just a question of which side wants to back up. However, with Milan’s BL qualification all but assured, and with Empoli at home and Slavia at home to Teplice, there is little chance of a rest; the best teams could be on the pitch.

Looking at Slavia’s home record, Milan need at least a two-goal advantage here, and we think they will get it. We expect a dominant and aggressive Milan, which could even put the question of qualification on the line in the first leg.
